With the Elite Singles App, you choose whom to contact and decide whether to meet. A personal matchmaker may take on selecting introductions and coordinating dates, depending on the package.
For professionals in Ireland, the useful comparison is the work each option takes off your hands—not whether a service calls itself “elite” or “personalised”.
Does the Elite Singles App include a personal matchmaker?
Ordinary app membership provides filters and profile recommendations, not a dedicated matchmaker to select and manage your dates.
Human involvement needs a precise description. Moderation reviews profiles and conduct. Customer support handles service questions. Automated recommendations help identify profiles. Personal matchmaking involves a person selecting introductions, while date coordination covers contacting both people and confirming meeting details. A promise of one does not establish that the others are included.
For any separately offered personal assistance, obtain the package name, tasks, fee and availability in Ireland in writing. Do not assume that a higher membership tier includes a dedicated consultant.
Who handles each part of the process?
A personal matchmaking package can divide the work in different ways. Ask which tasks are included, who carries them out and what you still need to arrange yourself.

In Ireland, check the introduction area—not just the office address
A Dublin consultation address tells you where an agency works. It does not tell you where your introductions will live. Ask whether the proposed search covers people you could meet regularly, rather than treating a nationwide service as proof of suitable introductions nearby.
Set out your home area and work area separately. For example, working in Dublin twice a week does not necessarily mean you want a partner based there when the rest of your life is in Kilkenny. Tell a consultant whether each area is suitable for regular meetings or only occasional ones. With an app, check what location a profile or search is actually using.
A video consultation saves a trip to an office; it does not reduce the distance between two people who later meet. For Northern Ireland or cross-border introductions, confirm whether the package covers both jurisdictions and whether your preferred area is part of the actual search. An agency’s all-island reach and your individual introduction area can be different.
Two questions for a consultation

What are you paying the service to do?
Compare the service description beside the price. Platform access may give you tools for finding and communicating with people. A personal matchmaking package should identify the work a person will carry out. A phrase such as “personal attention” is too vague to tell you whether a fee covers a consultation, selection, coordination or follow-up.

- A person is presented for your consideration. They have not necessarily agreed to speak or meet.
- An introduction
- The provider’s definition matters: sharing contact details, obtaining agreement from both people and booking a date are different deliverables.
- A completed date
- The meeting has taken place. It still does not promise that either person wants another date.
Ask for a worked example of how the package is counted: the suggested person lives outside the agreed area, you decline, and a later date is cancelled by the other person. Does either event use an introduction? Who replaces it, and does the service period keep running?
Also establish what happens during a pause, how long a search can remain open without suitable introductions, and whether venue costs, coaching or extra searches are separate. These details let you compare the work included without assuming that two packages with the same headline number deliver the same thing.
Which type of help do you actually want?
Hypothetical example A · Keeping control of the search
You want to choose who receives your time
You work in Cork and are comfortable reading profiles, starting conversations and agreeing a meeting yourself. Your frustration is irrelevant results, rather than the work of contacting someone. Before paying for app access, confirm that the membership offers the filters and communication options you intend to use. Paying an agency to make those choices for you may solve a problem you do not have.
Hypothetical example B · Handing over selection and coordination
You want a person to progress the introduction
You live in Galway and are willing to attend dates, but want someone to discuss suitable candidates with you and organise the first meeting. Ask a matchmaker to name who performs those tasks and whether they can serve your agreed area. A consultation followed only by a list of profiles would leave the work you wanted to hand over largely unchanged.
Both choices still require your participation. Even with coordination included, you must supply accurate requirements, respond to proposals, make time to meet and decide whether to continue. A service can organise an introduction; it cannot make that decision for either person.
