Your profile is visible to registered members of the EliteSingles service, which is not limited to people in Ireland. An Irish entry point does not mean an Ireland-only audience.
For someone concerned about a colleague or client recognising them, the important distinction is between limiting access and reducing identifying detail. A privacy setting cannot make a familiar face unfamiliar.
These rules concern the current EliteSingles account service. Elite Singles Ireland provides information; account settings are managed within that service.
Start with the audience
The service agreement describes member access to profiles. That is not a promise that every field has the same audience, or that a profile can never appear outside a signed-in session.

“Public photos” is a product category, not proof of unrestricted web access. Do not treat it as confirmation either way about Google, Bing or logged-out visitors.
Recognition is not just a name
Yes, an acquaintance who uses the service may encounter it. Removing a company name does not stop recognition through a photograph, an unusual role or a precise description of your routine. Decide which work and location details genuinely help a potential date understand your life.

Too revealing: your employer, a named client team and the evenings you leave a particular Dublin office.
A narrower, truthful description: “I work in financial services.” Use this only if accurate; leave the team and weekly timetable out of the introduction.

Too revealing: a hospital name, specialist department and regular shift pattern together.
A narrower, truthful description: “I work in healthcare.” A description of your interests can carry the conversation without naming where and when you work.

Too revealing: an Eircode, street address or directions to your front door in profile text.
A narrower, truthful description: your genuine town or county, where the service allows that level of detail. Do not substitute Dublin for a different home location to appear less identifiable.
These are writing examples, not instructions to bypass required fields. Answer required questions accurately; distinguish information the service requests from extra detail you volunteer in an introduction.
An invitation to an album
Use Share My Private Album inside a conversation. Review authorised recipients under Private Photo Access.
Before sharing, consider the whole album, not only the photograph you currently have in mind. A work badge, conference backdrop or house number elsewhere in the collection may reveal more than the portrait that prompted the conversation.
Removing future access cannot guarantee retrieval of copies or screenshots someone has already saved.
Choose the action for the problem
Start with the outcome: a break from profile visibility, no contact from one member, a tidier inbox, or a different photo audience. These are separate tasks.
Take care with “Hide”: removing somebody from your search results is not a reliable substitute for blocking them. Read the action's description, not just its label.
